Remote Shizan Taikai 2021
| Due to Covid 19 travel
restrictions, annual Taikai for 2020 and 2021 was cancelled for in
person attendance. Therefore, International Battodo Federation
organized Remote Shizan Takai 2021
- every participant was filming and sending a video file of themselves
performing shizan (cutting) or kata (forms) in case when targets were
unavailable. Members of Shinkenkan Dojo Vancouver performed kata. Darko
Gedelovski won Excellent Performance Award (kata) in 5th DAN and above
category. The award was shared with Mr. Katsuno Shinri who performed
